How to Unlock Safaricom Modems

 

Safaricom modems (E173 and Newer) are tricky to unlock
Most modem unlockers wont be able to unlock these modems permanently but temporarily

This Software doesnt do a Permanent Unlock 
It only unlocks the modem when Pluged in the USB port
Once you eject the Modem it Locks Again and you will have to repeat the process again if you want to use other SIM cards from other networks

Some Windows 8 Users will have to Install Net Framework  2.0 and 3.0 Before Using this Unlocker

How to Unlock

1. Download the Unlocker

   here  Modem Unlocker

2. Extract and Open the Software (Modem unlocker)

3. Plug in the Modem with a different Sim Card

4. Wait for the software to detect the modem and click Unlock

5. Dont  Unplug The Modem after Unlocking

6.Click Restart modem

7.Wait for the modem to load then Browse

You will have to Repeat this steps each time you want to use the Modem
